Uno de los objetivos del Centro del Tercer Mundo para el Manejo del Agua, A. C., es el de difundir información sobre los últimos avances científicos en materia de gestión ambiental con énfasis en el manejo de los recursos hídricos. Los Informes de Investigación y el International Journal of Water Resources Development, revista líder en materia de agua, han ayudado al Centro a cumplir con este objetivo. Se espera que esta información sea de utilidad para aquellas personas encargadas de la toma de decisiones, investigadores, organizaciones e individuos involucrados en cualesquier aspecto de la problemática del medio ambiente y el agua.
